Below is a very good decision path example provided by dlucy Thank you Dlucy and others that have shared your knowledge and added to the list and to this thread! I have to personally thank Avionic, EW, Ilimzn, Clinic and the other folks who pointed me in the right direction. It’s been quite an exploration, especially wrt components. I will start by adding some of the trannies I needed to replace. Replacing transistors 2sf1384 on multiple factors and blindly using these as replacements, wthout additional consideration based on your circuit and individual aplication, is not recomended.
Goldie99EJB14Eastham and 6 others like this. Please also post questions if you need to replace a transistor for which you did not find a replacement. FootFungusJan 17, Because I did not find an updated list, I would not mind to build upon the list from HV, expand datahseet bring it up to date. Probably should be a sticky over in the DIY forum. Yes, my password is: Log in or Sign up. HyperionJan 16, The Ddatasheet moves the collector to the center pin. Link to dlucy flowchart for choosing a substitute transistor Thanks for posting the list.
Seems a good place to request numbers for replacement in the future, and hopefully the OP will stay on it and keep a running up to date list in post 1.

The transistors, however, seem to have gone through more then one generation of replacements. Middle of Crook County. Great Thread,,,,, will come in handy I’m sure. I personally had a lot of questions and went through numerous posts to identify components.
Please post your comments, suggestions, corrections; all are welcomed! Do you already have 2sc13384 account? I am not sure if there is another list like this on the forum or for that matter how many more there are, but I thought I would share this one.

Your name or email address: TJacquesJan 16, Without the C the base is at the center pin. I have edited the original posting with an updated list.
I will try to make it available on a shared drive in the future. Obviously, the more replacement suggestions you post, the more will make it to the list before the list can no longer be edited. This above list is only meant to be a guideline and not a list of datasheef substitutes.
No, create an account now. If anyone has any suggestions on how to accomplish this better, please let me know. In latesome still appeared on eBay. HyperionNov 14, And as we have just discussed in this thread KSC is a higher voltage replacement. Discussion in ‘ Solid State ‘ started by rottalphaNov 12, The beta matching between the NPN and PNP is usually easier to do as the 94 part is generally a bit higher in gain than the See updated list below!
MiamiBoyJun 22, Finding matched pairs of the MJnn series is not datasueet as easy as I expected. A mistake in the preparation of the data sheet, perhaps? I obviously have this in Excel, but there are limitations on what can be uploaded. I guess I’ll have to find a way to match them, myself. Because different transistors go out of production as new ones come in, it will be ideal to have a dynamic list, however, this may be difficult to maintain for a longer period.

So, in your format: For some I found replacements, for others not. FootFungusJan 16, Thanks for posting this Pete. SoundOfSoundNov 13, I second the poster.
