The following information will be maintained on the register. Retain this memorandum and inventory sheet for 2 years if no discrepancies are noted; 4 years if a discrepancy was noted.

TAB C A physical count of weapons and ammunition is recorded each time the responsibility for custody of the arms room keys is transferred. An “Off-Limits to Unauthorized Personnel” sign must be posted at each entrance to the motor pool. Are nonportable items stored in a secure with doors and windows locked during nonoperational hours as required by ARpara b 2? Units requesting to open the motor pool gate outside of normal operating hours must coordinate with the SDNCO.
Entry and exit from any other gates will be controlled by the gate guards. Unit will maintain a SOP covering all areas mentioned above. Ensure a risk analysis of your motor pool is conducted every three years. These instructions are published for your guidance and are designed as a working reference for most situations that you may encounter during your tour duty.
TAB C Quarterly serial number inventories of all unit arms are conducted and recorded. Storage of privately owned incendiary devices or explosives is strictly prohibited.

Are all building and room keys controlled and accounted for as required by ARAppendix D? Army vehicles in non-combat areas will be secured with a locking mechanism when parked and not attended by an assigned operator.
As a minimum the gate guard duty requires ONE guard per day. Security lighting includes exterior and interior lighting which cannot be accessible turned off to unauthorized personnel. Has exterior and interior security lighting been provided for the building where the arms room is located, or has exterior lighting been provided for the arms storage building, as required by ARpara d 4?
TAB Q Arms racks or containers weighing under pounds are fastened together, secured to the wall or floor, or chained together.
The unit armorer or the Arms room Officer will not conduct this inventory. This gate will controlled to prevent pilferage. Consolidated arms rooms used to store arms, ammunition and explosives will have a formal agreement that at a minimum states which Commander is responsible for items stored. When the responsibility for the arms room is cohtrol, a physical count of weapons and ammunition is conducted.
These personnel will contrlo their weapons in the company’s arms room, and will be issued a weapons card DA Form for each weapon. Is there a bilateral storage agreement, as required by ARpara c 1?
