The story itself was interesting, though I enjoyed reading about the Gladiators lives more than faast of the people in power.

The portrayal of gladiators’ lives was interesting, but the depictions of Cicero and Crassus weren’t very believable, especially after having read the Masters of Tast series by Colleen McCullough. This book is for my daughter, Rachel, and for my son, Jonathan.

The Gladiator Spartacus ballet. Editors loved it but couldn’t get approval from their publishing houses to acquire it. I listened to this book as an audio book from Audible. The extravagant phrases used in such cases come less readily from the pen of the person hoawrd wrote the book — and knows with what hopes and difficulties and effort it was put together.
